Mod chip you guys think is the best...and one more question, Why exactly are friend code so evil? I've read all the threads that say, NO FRIENDS CODES HERE, but no explanation is given, seems kind of stupid is all.
Friends codes aren't allowed cos the place would be spammed with them and AD is not about loads of ppl filling the place up with stuff that isn't really that helpful to others. Having said that - every day a few ppl will come in and ask what the best modchip is instead of reading existing threads ;)

Can't you PM someone with your code if you have a friend you want to play with on this board? It's random advertising if left to freely occur and along with selling, trading etc. detracts from what this board is all about - a source of knowledge and support. So in that case it would be unhelpful to the aims of this board.
There are other places for friends codes - I think that's fine myself. Mind you I'm not admin here - it's not my policy. I'm just explaining what my perception of the reason behind the ban is.
I'd consider friend codes to be a source of knowledge and support, if someone has you set as a friend because you gave him your friend code over the boards, he'd be able to find additional information from you when you were not at the site.
Friend codes suck. the reason why we dont like friend codes is how are you suppose to get friend codes if you hardly know anyone with a wii.
Worse on games like pokemon battle revolution if you are playing online most of the people you are playing against are server generated characters not real people.
You can tell when a fire pokemon kills another fire pokemon.
And you can tell these individuals because there friend codes say 800-800-800

it's because of mind control. You need to blink 5 times while spinning around if 1 foot, tapping your stomach.
