quick question about x-clamp fix

should i do the x-clamp fix to my xbox if it hasnt gotten the RROD? I wasnt thinking to do the part where i overheat it but just where i install all the stuff? any help would be appreciated.. thanks!

If it's working fine, I wouldn't do it.

That's up to you though.

Edit: What I would do though is replace the thermal paste on the GPU and CPU with AS5.

I waited till i got the rrod then i did the x-clamp fix along with the thermal paste replacement for the cpu and gpu.. If your 360 is working fine right now just game on and enjoy dude, beleive me you'll know when it's time to do x-clamp fix anyways. Just have as much fun with your 360 as you can..
