can any1 help me i no abit about this psp cfw business but what i dont no is the differance between them all is there a quide or can any1 tell me the differnce.

some you can do differnet things on.

@ the mo im using 3.71 m33-4 is there a better 1.

Well I wouldn't say there is a better one. however, the newest update is 3.90 M33, which is 2 updates form yours. its bascially the same and you should be able ot do everything on 3.71 that you can do on 3.90.

Sony add new features with the latest official firmware. Eg. skype is available for slim users on 3.90.

Custom firmware is partly derived from the official firmware and includes whatever features it has. So if you have a slim then you can't use skype until you upgrade to 3.90 m33(2). That's just one example. Also the newer custom firmware will have it's own extras and fixes but really it's up to the individual to pick up all the info and stay current.
