HI I HAVE A XBOX 360 WITH A MS28 DRIVE THAT WAS FLASHED TO FIRMWARE iXTREME 1.4 MY QUESTION IS CAN I USE MEMOREX DVD+R DL TO PLAY MY BACKED UP GAMES CAUSE THE VERBATIM CAUSE ALOT AND I FOUND A DEAL FOR THE MEMOREX DL FOR $33.00 ANY OPINIONS I CAN GET WILL BE GREAT I DONT KNOW IF IT MATTERS BUT THE WRAPPER IS RED
I have 67 games and 65 are on memorex. I have never had any problems with them at all. Yes VERBATIM are nice but you make a coaster and bam loss of good money. Memorex is fine =)

I would have to agree with you,I have had brand new xbox not read Backup disk at all not matter what brand,and have buddies who use nothing but memorex from launch day consoles and still run fine,I think it the luck of the draw , if you get a decent laser or not.I say try it in if it works for ya keep going with it,but if you experince reading problems try buying a 3 pak of verbatum's at bestbuy and see how they work for ya.

Use Verbatim's!!! you will slowly kill your drive if yu use lower quality stuff...Besides Verbatims go on sale every month at Futureshop...there actually on sale this week for $24.95!! thats even cheaper than you Memorex.
Some people have good luck with Memorex, others don't. It's a crap shoot. Memorex is manufactured by many different manufacturers, and most of them are crap, like CNC.
If you're stateside you can get Verbs on sale every 4~5 weeks at Best Buy, or you can try Newegg.com. They usually have good prices on Verbs.
