Can Someone please explain to me how to set up the Xbox 360 with A Pc Monitor. I have a VGA Cable and a dell 19' Monitor but I dont know what to do from there. Does the PC need to be on when XBOX is on or just the monitor? A tutorial would help. Im new to all this.

Step 1: Connect the monitor and cable together.
Step 2: Frag away!

It's as simple as that. Are you switching your monitor cable between the 360 and the pc, or does your monitor have dual inputs?

My Monitor has 2 VGA inputs. One the size of the cable and one bigger. Do I plug the VGA Input off the xbox cable into the back of Machine (The Hard Drive Tower thing, I cant think of the name) or into the back of the monitor?

on ure monitor u most likely have vga (blue) and dvi (grey) ports, what u have to do is connect the vga cable to ure MONITOR not the pc now to hear the 360 u need to connect the rca plugs to the input on ure pc soundcard to do that u will need this

nop, another option would be buy a tv tuner connect it to the pc and connect the 360 directly to the pc that way u will hear, see, and be able to record

well. the way to do that depends if u have xp or vista on vista open control panel then hardware and sound, sound, double clic speakers, and go where it says levels

on xp if u c the sound icon on next to the time double clic it or right clic it and a menu should appear and un-mute it there

one last tip since lcd MONITORS arent tv's the pciture will look a little bit brighter to fix that and make it similar to lcd tv on the 360 go to settings, display, and adjust reference levels to expanded and sure crank the resolution to the highest ure monitor can handle

Alright Will do. Also are LCD monitors like old TV's, that if you leave a game on pause for a while the image might get imprinted on the screen?
