hi

I am looking at some casing for my to be psp and I come across thing like:

"Transparent Plastic Hard Protector Case with Lining for Sony PSP 2000 Blue"

What does the 2000 mean in Sony PSP 2000 blue? Is it the year they made that psp?

I also came around someone who want to sell their modded psp for $149, and I believe it come with the memory stick. Does anyone think this is a good price for a great condition used slim psp or should I better off buying a new one for $169 and modding it myself?

psp 2000 means the slim psp anything like psp 200x where x can be any number then its a slim

if it is psp 100x then its a phat psp

$149 sounds good for a modded one (is that just modded fw like cfw or like full case mod) it does save the hassel of having to do it yourself

but if you know someone with a cfw psp then buy a new one because you can put cfw on it for free so you only have to pay $20 extra for a new one. but if you dont know someone with a cfw psp then you could add about $24 for the datel tool battery.
