I have a PSP that has not been used for about 4 months. Plugged in the AC and the orange light comes on. After about 3 hours the light goes out. I'm assuming the battery is fully charged. When I power the PSP on, the green light comes on, the goes off. Nothing appears on the screen. Replaced the battery, but does the same thing. Anyone know what could be the problem? The power button seems to work correctly. When I push it up and release it, it springs back.
Does it seem with the lights down does the backlight come on slightly. If it does it might have been bricked. If not maybe the psp got dropped and needs repair.

Never see anything on the screen. When I turn on the PSP, the green light next to POWER goes on, then right off. I'm trying to determine if it is the power switch or something else.

Im assuming it is the power switch or the PCB board. At this point I'm not sure what else it could be. I order the replacement parts from the web site https://www.dealextreme.com/. Once I receive the parts, I'll replace the switch and see what happens.
