What happened to my COD4 clan?

i just installed the new patch for cod4. realizing after i installed the patch i no longer have my clan that i made using the hex editor. X,O,[],/\. the only thing that is the same that i notice is that my name is still in a different color. did this happen to anyone besides me?

It wouldn't surprise me if they fixed it, changing the name color is garbage imo ESPECIALLY green. Besides you can get banned for it.

Apparently the whole hex editing has been patched. They patched the cheats that I was unaware of!!!!!!!! Yeah I found out after the fact that you can edit your save file a basically add all the freaking cheats you want, unlimited ammo, see through walls, walk throgh walls, invincibility!!!...etc..... the list goes on... NO F*cking wonder there where times where I would unload on people and they wouldnt die, but they shoot me and Im dead before the bullet touches me.... Im not really pissed that people where using it, im pissed because I wasnt!!!!! I had to earn my rank!

oh... so answer to your question.. yeah they fixed the Hex editing....But I heard it was something that was intentionaly add at first until it was exploited..

Did they really have cheats like that? I mean there were times when I kept running into the same guy and he would never die. Actually, there were a couple clans that just seemed way too good and too lucky every time I ran into them. I didnt know they had cheats for ammo and such. Just thought you could tweak juggernaut or stopping power a little. Good to know its fixed. For a new game, it doesnt have too many bugs in its first couple of stages.
Where is the website for the maps we can submit for mulitplayer and maybe get it onto the game?

You need to own the PC version of COD4 before you can make and submit maps.

Yep, those cheats are (were) real. Want to get pissed at them, watch this: http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=26167 . And this guy cheating actually sucks at playing even with the cheats.
