I got a wii system from sky2k, but i dont know what chip is in it, because all they tell me is, "Professional Installation of the latest authentic Wiikey/D2ckey chip" they are listed on the wiikey site (when up, why is it still down anyway?) that they are a reseller, but i asked them, because i couldnt update the chip with the firmware is b/c they told me it a Wiikey/D2ckey chip. You have any idea on what i can do to find out once and for all?

Go HERE and type in your serial number of the Wii.
If it says it is a DMS/D2A/D2B then it should be a Wiikey.
If it says it is a D2C then it should be a D2CKey.
Wiikey can be updated D2CKey can not.
To know 100% what you have you would have to open up the Wii and find out by looking at it yourself or taking a picture and uploading it here at the site.

got gsc-d2c, so its a d2ckey, how does the site, works by the serial numbers? do the mod co's log them? also what do i need to know about mario galaxy and brawl now that i know i have that key, and should i worry about brawls retail version or copy?

If you have a D2CKey then everything should work without a hitch.
There really is nothing you could do anyway since D2CKey comes as is with no option to update as of yet.

so mario galaxy, no issue? but what about this mario brawl DVD DL issue iam hearing about that wii's can stop reading or have trouble reading the brawl disc retail or copy, what your take on this? and i heard the online for the brawl game can be an issue also..

If you have a D2CKey then there will be no issue playing a retail version of it.
If you do have an issue with the reatil version then it more then likley will be a laser lens issue which has nothing to do with the Modchip at all.

Wiikey and D2CKey are both diffrent Modchips.
If the serial tracker said your serial number is a D2C then you more then likley have a D2CKey.
So anything that pertains to the Wiikey wouldnt matter since you do not have a Wiikey installed.

Holy crap dude! You've been told that you have a D2CKey and you aren't going to have any problems! What happens if I get in a car wreck on the way home? I probably shouldn't get in my car huh! I might choke on a chicken bone at dinner so I probably shouldn't eat cuz that wouldn't be good. Sheesh.

please dont be rude, i know what i have, i'am asking different questions, crys.......:( cant you understand i want to make sure, before i do anything since i hearing a kinds of issues going on, and iam just asking for help. people just dont understand me i swear, every time i ask question i always get a user reply like this, and a fight starts,

i dont understand, what did i do wrong, why can you answer the rest of my questions? why are you being rude now? crys... i just to know what i need to do? you are misunderstood, you didnt tell me all i need, and if you dont know why can you just point me else where, i asked for help, not a battle, crys.. can anyone help me then, or should i just go else where??

What are you confused about exactly? You were told that all games are going to work fine. Several times in fact!

Well, if you guys arent gonna answer all of my questions, which wherent the same question, if you read them right, instead of being rude and censorshipping my replies, maybe i could get a straight, answer, but if you going to be this, all just go else where, next if you dont know the answer, or not in the mood, then just say i dont know, check else where, everybody isnt as fast as you, and doesnt know everything! If it is a laser issue you actually need to place the Wii under your pillow when you go to bed. Then the Wii fairy will come along and sprinkle Laser-Lens fairy dust on it fixing it.
