Hi, just some quick questions..
as for..
Solder: Flux vs Silver vs Rosin-core.
I keep hearing about how great rosin core is, and was wondering if any of the above is a great alternative..

if not, the rosin core solder I'm looking at is at a diameter of .05", 63% tin and 37% lead. would this be alright?


Soldering Iron:
I didn't know which one to get.. a 15w grounded tip soldering iron, or a 6-watt/4.5-volt iron that is battery powered..



and for soldering methods, feel free to include any great tips =D [things like, if coating a new iron w/ solder is necessary.. etc]

The iron I bought was a 15W one from Radio Shack. It was like $7.99

As far as the solder goes,I can't tell you,my chip came with solder that I used.
