Ok, i have ordered a psp slim and it should arrive today, and since im totally new to the psp scene, i wish to upgrade to 3.90 M33-2. I currently purchased a datel tool (pandora battery) and have no clue where to start, i have also heard that I need a fat psp...for what exactly. I have looked at the guides and I am completly confused. What do I do?

if you have the TOOL battery you dont need a fat PSP, all you need is a Magic Memory Stick, which you can make using THIS guide.
Just skip the bit about pandora (as you have a TOOL).
Its a really good guide, but if you have any questions you can ask either in here or in the guide thread.
couple more q's:
1: what more exactly can the fat do then the slim?
2: I heard that I have to downgrade the psp to 1.5 to update to 3.90m33, seeing as the slim dosen't have 1.50, what do I do?
