i just installed my wii key into my D2B wii.
Heres the thing, what do i do now. I see on different sites, the firmware updates for the wiikey and the config disks. Which do i do first, because none of them are working for me. I am using Maxell DVD-R and burning the files using 1x write speed.
I tried to filechop the 30MB or so sized files so that they are the 1.35GB but it doesnt work, so all i have been using are the files that when u unzip them, they come out as 1.35GB already.
So using this, for example i did the 1.3 Config disk,unziped the file, and it comes out in the correct size(1.35GB), burned the image, put it in the wii, the gamecube logo comes up, i hit run/start then a screen comes up saying: found 1 game, and it shows it below and asks to hit "A". Well, that doesnt work for me. I tried it on both the gamecube controller and the wiimote....what am i doing wrong here.
Please help me...i would really...really appreciate becuase i am just totally lost at this point.
if i'm not mistaken you need to do the 1.9b or 1.9g (g being the newest i believe) update to use 1.3 config disc? but i think that it would have just not booted, i dont know i did the update first.
