can't battle random people online on SSBB

hey i have wifi and i was playing my buddy online. we setup a game and started playing online, it was pretty laggy but playable. after we were done i wanted to play a random person online, so i went to the option were u get to play any random person, waited a while but it couldn't register any opponents... i waited a while but still no one got connected. i then exited and went to scouting(watching other people play) and i see there matches register opponents quikly. i ext and go scouting again and another match is there. i try to battle sumone online and it still registers opponents.

I have been having this problem recently. I have been able to do a random battle, but it seems that for the past 2 or 3 days I haven't been able to register opponents.

Welcome to Nintendo's wonderful world of online gaming...

Had the same problem myself, its on and off, it sucks, I hope they create a lobby for mario kart...
