I cancelled my gamefly account because their service sucks, it took too long for games to arrive. So after one month they still keep charging my credit card, so I called them and the only phone number that you can find is the one in your credit card statement and you can only call it from 9-2pm, and they returned my money but after one month they still keep charging me. This company is horrible, I will have to change my credit card number I can't fight these crooks anymore.

I was thinking about trying them out, but after reading your comment and a few others on here I think I will pass.Microsoft does the same crap to you,They charged me monthy on my debit card and I didnt relize it for 3 months,called them up in they refunded me one month.It was all because I bought the map pack for gears of war back in the day,In card was in there system ,that was the only time I used a card on my xbox.I usally do prepaid.

I used GF back when they were still fairly new and only shipped from CA. I'm in PA, and games took about a week to get here. Used them for awhile but got fed up. Shippments started taking longer and a few returns never made it there. They'll throttle you just like Netflix will.
Well I just started again, not even a month ago, as they now have a shipping facility only 130 miles away. I got my first game the next days after they shipped it. They also reported receiving the return the day after I shipped it back.
But the next game, they shipped 3/12, and I didn't receive it until 3/15. That's 4 days to travel 130 miles. Yet, when I returned it on 3/18, they received it the next day, 3/19. They also shipped the next one on 3/19. I haven't got it yet, and today is the 3/21 so no mail (holiday). So I'll see if it arrives by 3/22.
If not, I'm going to empty my Q. And after I ship it back and receive the "Received your return" email, I'm cancelling them.

Man Post Master guys up there in Erie must have special days.(lol)We Country Bumkins down here in UC still got our Mail today,on Good Friday.

Oh no kidding... I usually don't get my mail 'til around 4pm, but I thought today being Good Friday, they'd be closed.

I've been using Netflix for a few years and have never experienced throttling by them. It might have to do with the fact that there is a distribution facility right here in my city. Gamefly on the other hand is a different story. I experienced shipping problems with them after only a few months. This eventually progressed to their not receiving a few games. Eventually my account was cancelled due to a large amount of "lost" games. Now I get spam from them wanting my money.

Exactly. There are numerous posts across the web about GF supposively never receiving their games back.

That is why i wish Blockbuster had an online game rental like they do movies. They are fast and very good in the two years i have been a member. I still do get two free game rentals a month for being a member but i have to go to the store and they have to be returned in 5 days.
I have never had more then a two day turn around time on the movies i get from them, they rarely ever mess up, and when you are on the "3 at a time" plan you can expect to get 12 or more movies a month for $20 depending how quickly you ...cough,cough... watch them before you send them back.

i've been using GF and NetFlix for about 2 years now an i never had a problem yet.. i get the games and movies both in about 2-3 days

Agree Bhetrick, the GF shipping center is 100 miles from me and they do the same crap with me. They receive the next day and then take 3-4 days for you to receive the next game. Hate also how they pull the crap where if you have top 10 games in Q that are all low, they will send you #11 if it's availabe. It's like, send me the other ones first, not the highest available one.
Netflix does great, I receive them one day, send back the next and they send it out same day. Just a pain if it comes from my non-local shipping facility.
