I have a wii key Modchip in my wii and i just put metroid prime 3 in my so i can rip it to my pc using usb Gecko is it safe to install the update also both the game and console are pal

If the game is defo PAL then yes.

You'd be best advised to update your console online to 3.2 if you can just so your console is as safe as it can be.

Had any problems with the USB Gecko? Does it rip the whole disc in one go? I ask as I successfully use the SD Gecko and am thinking of moving up in the world of backups.
