i just got my psp modded with the 3.80 m33-5 cfw, i was having trouble finding out how to get my ISO's to go on and work, and a video on youtube said to go into recovery mode(by powering up while holding the Rbutton)and set to 1.5 kernal, reboot, hit 'select' from the home menu and set "UMD ISO MODE" from normal to 'sony NP9660' so i did and my ISO's still wouldent work, then i formatted my memorie stick (i think i read that here) after formatting the mem stick the iso directory appeared and now the isos are working great, my question is did i actually have to set it back to 1.5 kerenal and change the umd iso mode from normal to sony np9660??
i am still running the 3.80 M33-5 CFW
and in case it matters my psp came with 3.71 ofw and its the star wars one
any help would be greatle apperceated, Thanks

The only thing you need to set it to 1.5 is for homebrew applications. Since you have a slim you can't run any 1.5 kernel homebrew. Unless you use time mackine but that has the kernel built into it. So there is no need for you to have it set to 1.5. The homebrew you get for your slim, this set to 1.5 would actually prevent you from using homebrew.
