why is that i cant get into my music, photo, and video in XMB

can anyone help me, every time i try to access my music, photo and video in XMB my psp freeze, it wont even turn off, i have to take out the battery and insert it for it to work im running 3.71-3 m33. i think some files may be missing from flash0, i made a back up before i flashed the theme, so when i realize the problem i restore the files but im still experiencing that problem, CAN I PLEASE GET SOME HELP. im kinda new to the psp scene

thanks for your help rickem, i upgraded it to 3.71m33-4 but unfortunalty i still cant get access to them, is there any other way of fixing this, cuz right now im close to starting all over from 1.50, if there is a different approach could you let me know please, thanks

Are you bound to sticking with 3.71 cause you could always update to 3.90M33-2
Hope you read this edit. Try formating flash 1 and reset settings

well, if it has all the features and can do all that v3.71m33 is capable of doing then i wont have a problem updating, what do u recommend?

Try format flash1 first and if all else fails then ya, i'd go with 3.90M33-2

well, i guess it time to upgrade to 3.90m33, i got into video, but cant get in music nor photos, and i can upgrade from 3.71m33 to 3.90m33-2 right?

If your at 3.71M33-4 now, then yeh, just download 3.90M33, run it, then download the update 2, run it then you should be good to go.
Post back if your fixed.

am i not suppose to have the 3.90 sony updater to go in the 3.90m33 update folder but its gonna rename to "390.BPB" is this wrong?
