I from 3.53 M33-4 go to 3.80 M33 then to 3.80 M33-5.
After upgrading, my save files cant load.
Izzit true must go 3.71 M33 1st, then steps by steps to 3.80 M33-5, then the save files able to work.

If you have a pandora you can go straight to 3.90 M33 if required, without you need to go 3.52>3.71>3.80. As you already have a CFW psp i would suggest creating a UPMS stick (Search here) and you can go up and down as you wish.
I have upgraded / downgraded so many times and i have never had a problem with save files - Possibly reset flash1 although save files are on the MS so unlikely that will work.
