I have a launch day wii with wiikey fitted Have 70+ games that I have personally backed up and run with no probs. I use my pc with vista and my LG drive. I have several gamecube games that are originals but none will read in rawdump. What is the deal they arent scratched. I would like to be able to backup my games could someone help.

Have you done any updates inbetween it working and not working?

Is the firmware of the Wiikey 1.9g? I am still dubious about this betafix as I have read it isn't stable.

I also had a reply from OzModChips to the affect that the 1.9g firware can corrupt the wiikey.

As many people use it successfully I cannot confirm this, but if you can run the recovery to get 1.9b it would be interesting to know if things start working again.

No my Wii is fine the problem is that my lg drive in my pc will not read original game cube games with raw dump. Isnt it supposed to be used for that?

Opps, sorry misread your post.

Not sure about gamecube games. Have they worked in the past with Rawdump or Friidump?

Can you use the SD or USB Gecko method to back them up? DVD Dump comes with the Wiikey Config disc and you can download SoftDevs DVD ulitity 0.1g online.

havent tried friidump Ill do that never have worked with rawdump

Question:

My motherboard is slightly different than the way it shows in the installation guide to the Wiikey. It is off by 1 solder point. Any suggestions?
