is there anyway of leaving hte usb on all the time on a wii without having to leave the wii switched on, i have an external charger/stand but is powered by usb so only works when switched on, which is pointless as you need to use the remotes then :S

Standby (yellow light) or on (green light) are your only options to have the USB ports alive.

ahh so if i stick it in standby mode then the usb is powered yeah. i know it still uses power but standby no where near as bad as just leaving it on lol
