Please can someone help. My brothers PSP is version 3.03 FAT PSP.

How can i upgrade it to 3.90 m33-2...
What will i need to do this, i already know where i can find all the files such as dark-alex.org...
but i heard you need original GTA umd to hack it???

I have around 60 psp games which i want to copy for my brother, my psp is Slim and i done it myself...

Can somone PLEASE help me pleaseeeeeee

p.s. what is Kernal?? i have no idea im new to all of this

OK.There are 2 ways

One way is that you need GTA to downgrade to 1.50v like you sayed.
But there are two another ways.
One is that you update your psp to 3.50 and then you downgrade to 1.50 with original copy of lumines(ULES00043 or ULUS10002).

And the second way is pandora battery and magic memory stick.

In this guide you will need another psp with costum firmware(ask your friends).So you will change your battery and memory stick into a pandora battery and magic memory stick in psp with costum firmware and then you will insert pandora battery and magic ms in your psp.

WOAHHHHH that is difficult, can i not just install the firmware by drag droppin and installing like i did with my psp slim.... i aint got a clue, i will chk da links tho, thanks

hh..you can´t install costum firmware on 3.03v without the ways i wrote you..you maybe got 1.50v and from that firmware you can install a costum firmware..Just folow those steps in the guide. the ony problem is that you must buy Lumines(if you choose first way)or the Datel Tool battery(if you choose second way) if you don´t have another psp with costum firmware.So just folow the steps and you will managed to get costum firmware.

taddy1449 is correct thoes are the 2 current methods however the luminess and gta exploits are a bit outdated the best way is pandora and the best pandora is upms i reccomend this one :
