i have a psp slim that got for christmas. i updated to 3.80 from that playstation page, n then i updated to 3.90 (again from the playstation web page)

i been wanting to put 3.90 M33 but when im about to upgrade, it says that my psp does not need upgrade.

i really dont know what kind of psp i have, all i know is that i have a psp slim that came out during christmas and i upgrade it to 3.90

i read that people have a psp 2000 and others have different, can some one explain me what is that and which one i might have?

also how can i put the costum firmware in my psp, if it is possible

Hmm. You can't upgrade a 3.90 version of a PSP. First you're gonna have to downgrade to version 1.50. Then Upgrade it to 3.90 M33. I don't know if a downgrader for an official 3.90 firmware is out yet but I'll keep a lookout for ya.

Yes you can use a Pandora's Battery like wasted420 said but you're going to need a friend that has custom firmware to make one.
