cant get the service tool to work help!

hi i am using Universal Unbricker V3 Using Official Firmware FAT/SLIM PSP. i did ever thg it said to do to make the Magic Memory Stick one thg in the guide it shows a screen after you installed to the Memory Stick it says Option 4 "Universal unbricker for FAT or SLIM (This installs custom firmware 3.71 M33-2)"

Type 4 and Press ENTER (i did this)




The files will now be installed to the Memory Stick.

After it has finished writing the files you will get an image similar to below. Just type Y and ENTER to finish the instillation of files to the Magic memory Stick. i never get that screen it just gos to the next screen where u press any key to close the DOS box. and i thk thats y my service tool wont load the screen to install 3.71 M33-2.i have format ever thg and gave it a go agen same thg evre time.

does the tool turn on your psp by itself?

if it does - it's the MS that's the problem.

i think that might indeed be the problem.

anything smaller than a 4gb should be fine.

that would be correct i couldonly get the umps emeraldto work with my 4 gig nothing abovethat will work at this point
