Hey, I have and love my 360, it's tempting to buy the PS3 for the Blu Ray player, do any of you guys have it also? Don't want to start a war, but are you pretty happy with the PS3 along with your 360? Once they start using the entire 54 GB for games, will be really cool.

Yes, some of us do. But this probably belongs in the PS3 section since they would know more about that then some of us. Plus, if you put that in here we will get a fanboy war, even if you didn't intend to start one. But anyway, i will say that if you want a blu ray player, get one. But if you want one that will play some of the upcoming games that are expected for the ps3, then get the ps3. It is all just a matter of perspective, choice, and preference.

Yes I have a PS3.
I purchased it as a Bluray player is about £250 so I figured the PS3 is better value as it also plays games.
I only purchase exclusive PS3 games and buy multi-formats for the 360, in my opinion the 360 has better graphics as the PS3 all seems a little cartoon like for my taste.
There are pro's and con's for both consoles.
If I had to just keep one I'd keep the 360.
If you want a BluRay player get a PS3 and then buy some PS3 exclusive games - best of both worlds!

Thanks meta, appreciate. Do you think once the PS3 starts using the entire 54 GB blu ray disk that the games should be freaking incredible right? Again, I love my 360 and would never get rid of it, but it looks like comparing a 54 GB PS3 game to a 7-8 GB 360 game would theoretically blow the 360 game away.

I hate to say it but I really cannot see them utilizing the 50+GB space, if they did they would need to upload 10/20+GB onto the consoles HDD to reduce loading times!
Think of how long it would take to access content on a 50GB disc! The graphical capabilities of a BluRay is far better than the DVD but companies really aren't making use of it.
Unreal Tournament 3 enables the user to upload about 2GB onto their system, loading times are low and the graphics are fairly good - infact this is probably the best game I've seen graphically on the PS3.
Elder Scrolls could have been so much bigger than the 360 version because of the space avaliable on the disc, however, a lot of 360 games don't utilize the space on the DVDs! Some games (Crackdown and SEGA Rally etc) only use about 6GB of the capacity.
Back to the loading times, I really can't imagine how long it would take for a PS3 to access 50+GB of content for a game, hell, even BluRay Movies don't utilize the 50+GB even with all the extra rubbish they add to some of them!

GREAT info, Meta!!! Yeah, man, just looking at the size difference, it's like, S, if the PS3 games can hold 5 times more, then they should blow away the 360 games, but what you said is so true. The big thing too with the PS3 (as u know) can't mod yet, and even if you could the BR disks cost so much. Heard that Metal Gear (not sure of the name) for PS3 will use the entire 54 GB, are the graphics incredible for that?

Agree man, it's like the key word for the PS3 is potential for sure, it's a great machine now, just down the road, it could be really great if the game developers use the full power. Whereas with the 360, seems like it's about maxed out already, the games are full on the DL disks.

Closed - better to ask this in the ps3 section but w/o comparing it to the xbox. Like OreoMini said fanboys wars usually happen.
