Is it possible to mod a 360 game by replacing a file within a patched iso image (for instance changing a texture or editing a ini file) and then burn it on a dvd?
I have tried to replace a ini file in an iso, tested with xdvdmulleter and was ok, but then the burned game does not work.
Maybe I must "rebuild" the iso after replacing the file/s ?

Why dont you just spend $60 and buy a Kreon Smasung off e-bay? Seems easier.

Are you a dumbass or can you just not read?
I dont think many people have tried that paldrive but maybe you can be the first to do so. I dont know much myself about programing game txt and code but maybe someone else can offer more sound adivce.

If I remember correctly There is or was a way ,It was done awhile back on Gears of War,But soon as it went public Microsoft did the first ban wave,They don't want cheaters on live,I would say leave it alone and leave the game the way it is,you start messing with that stuff, We all might not be so lucky on the next ban wave.But if you want to try your own thing offline try to google it im sure it's still around somewhere.

O I see its Mr.Xbox haha you didnt message me mate telling me your new SN my bad. Haha you have so many Its hard to keep track bud. Anyways he isnt having trouble burning bud he is trying to mod the game like change colors and crap like that. Nice to see ya back tho =) kinda dull without you and wabashman going at it.

You didn't understand what he was asking. He's not looking to make a copy, he wants to modify the actual game.
And I thought people were modding Halo and playing it on the 360. I'm not positive, as I don't play it.

i've seen a couple of reports of people modding halo 3, mainly the characters, running around with a big black woman, with the michilene tire man, or however you spell it. but have yet to see anything myself.

I've seen that for the other Halos, didn't know they were doing it in 3, though. That's only good for private matches, right? I'd imagine they'd be banned pretty quick if they were doing it online in public matches.

then download the custom guitar hero 2 games, theres about 5 or 6 of them out there, some are good, some suck really bad.

i actually saw a halo3 mod the other day and it was pretty wild, i figured it was just some stupid shit in forge but this guy threw a grav lift spitting out fire, drove a wharthog with the tanks turret on it, and threw a power drainer which instead of that "blue" light it spit out wild colors like a rainbow. it was pretty cool. now wether these were in game easter eggs or not i dunno, but i doubt it.. it looked pretty modded to me.
