Actually, you ARE in fact mistaken. Its not out even in japan for over 2 weeks. That, coupled with the fact that everyone is still coming off the smash brothers rush why we arent seeing too much hype yet.
Wait till april at least, then we'll start really hearing about the game.
Does anyone know if this is another dl game like brawl? I wonder if security will be beefed up on the disc like brawl or worse.... It is kinda a big game for Nintendo
the only thing i would be concerned with is mario kart wii edition has a new channel that has to be installed on your wii something to do with online play if i heard correctly this is why you haven't heard to much of the hype about it because we don't know.

Most of the second layer for brawl is the SSE movies, so unless mario kart has a large amount of cutscenes I dont think it'll be dual layer. We wont know until its released in japan though so everyone is just gonna have to be paitent.
