PSP cannot upgrade to 3.90M33

This is the error message I get when I tried to update to 3.90M33.

The system cannot be updated.
The update data is not applicable for this sytem.
(CTA80000025)

Can Someone please advise.

sounds like you have offical firmare:)

you need to downgrade with pandoras+magic mem stick to get a CFW then you can install 3.90m33

Hi,
Thanks for replying and offering your advise. The psp is a slim set which is now 3.80m33-5. The only way it seems that I can do is to change the firmware is using the pandora and ms which i have. I have no problems using the pandora to go back to 3.71m33 or 3.80m33 but I get that message when I try to run the update for 3.90m33.
