im trying to upgrade my psp to 3.90 m33 but as soon as i try to upgrade it to 3.53 m33-3 or 2 or 4, for some reason it says theres no games in the games folder
and i have tried both 3.53 and 1.50 kernals

Most likely 3.52M33. It's probably been patched, so use THIS. It should allow you to update past 3.52M33
Lexar isn't a fake but you won't be able to get into recovery mode with it. Sony or Sandisk only.

Pandora is the quickest,safest an simplest way to unbrick, install custom firmware, allow slims to use "Time Machine" and play 1.5 Kernel homebrew.

How long has it been. It might have found a patched key. Had the same prob with a phat I did, and the update unpatched it. If it doesn't do anything, shut down and go to 3.71M33-4 first, then to 3.90M33

Install 3.71M33-4 first then up to 3.90M33. My mistake, forgot you were on 3.52M33.
