Modified 360 + Original Game + Live= Ban?

Hi,
I know this question might have been asked before but i want a confirmation for my 'setup' than of others...if you know what i mean?
I have a modified 360(with the latest iXtreme firmware). If i buy an original game and play multiplayer on Xbox Live, can i get banned? I have never played a non-stealth/patched backup and never played a backup while connected to Live. So do i have any chance of getting banned if i connect to Live with an original game? Normally, i hear it's safe but i want a re-confirmation. :)
I hope you guys can help me. Thanks a lot.

I'd love to tell you yes go ahead you'll be find but we have no idea what MS can do and what it can't...

*Breaths Deeply* Yes if your system is modded there is always a chance it might get banned. Even if you have never played a backup you can still be banned with modded firmware.

I know you guys can't say if we can get banned or not. I know all about it. But i was just confirming if playing on Live with a original game on a modified system was safe or not. 'Cause i heard it was...
I am stumped now. Dunno if i should go for Live or not. Ahhh..

It's safe for now, but when they drop the ban-hammer again...
I'd get it and enjoy live for now.. :D

*sigh* You can play an original game with modded firmware on Live. If you do get Banned, you knew all the risks when having a modded firmware. Deal with it. I played like a few backups/originals on my flashed 360 on Live i'm not banned. I'm not worried cuz I did my research and how they can ban you. I'm just waiting for my unmodded brand new xbox elite (that got RROD) to come back to me. Thats you should get 2 xbox 360, one modded and the other for backups.

Someone should sticky a thread saying WARNING MODDING YOUR XBOX PERIOD CAN RESULT IN BANNING. At least that will stop 1/4 of the people from asking. But I know even then people will.

I wish i could get 2 xbox! Especially since the Arcade so freakin' cheap in my region. But i am a little tight on the budget. So that's not possible.
Thanks for all the help guys. I didn't mean to be annoying as i know all about the bans and modding and stuff. I just heard that original games were safe on Live with modified firmware and came here for a confirmation. Looks like it's still 50-50. Hmm...

Would we not be just as well going online with our modded xbox's? Even if they do ban us what do we have to lose? If worst came to worst would that just put us back to were we are now.."offline". Or would it mess up our xbox's in any other ways?

ive been playing on xbox live for about a year now with a modded 360 but i use origionals when i go on live and have never had a problem i just unplug my ethernet from the 360 when i play a backed up game, dont sweat it your fine, if worse comes to worse and for some reason you get banned just call microsoft and tell them you bought it at a yard sale and you didnt know thats what a friend of mine did and they resored his account he just plays origionals online now
