could just put the old xclamps back in, and buy a warranty sticker from ebay, and then send it into MS. stickers on ebay are only like 20 bucks. much cheaper than the 110 from 360pros.

ok, if you feel like paying 6x more then feel free to do so. most poeple would go for the cheaper route and something that probably has a better warranty than 360pros.

ya but the RROD is still covered under the 3yr one, not just the 'extended' 90 day warranty. the 90 day one makes it qaulified for repairs such as dvd drive goes out, usb ports stop working etc.

Ok I was talking to a friend and we didnt get the 3 year warranty thing. If you bought a launch 360 does it apply to them as well. When did they start the 3 year thing? Or are they fixing all xbox 360s untill such and such date? Like lets say they started in May of 2007 will they stop fixing them in 2010? =)

MS started the 3 year warranty not too long back, but they made it retroactive to the launch consoles. The 3 year warranty covers every single 360 from the purchase date. So if you bought a launch console on 11/20/05, it's covered until 11/20/08.
It doesn't go by the manufacture date, just the purchase date.
Even if the 360 isn't registered with MS, they still know when a console is purchased new. When the serial number is scanned at checkout, that number is transmitted to MS.
So right now every single Xbox 360 in existance is covered by the 3 year warranty. Non voided, of course.

I am saying that the repair work that I am having done is 90 day warranty, which I should find out pretty fast if it's gonna hold up.My 360 gets used about 12 to 16 hrs a day non stop prob why i've been threw 5 different xbox's.And Another thing is how could he send it in even if he replaced the x-clamp's?I would think they are gonna notice the thermel paste, maybe not at first but when they finally do go to repair that xbox and notice it ,it could come back in bite him,Don't you think?

all he would have to do is put the original x-clamps back on the 360. i HIGHLY doubt they are going to notice the new thermal paste. i was just telling him that bc i would personally rather have a console repaired by MS since if it gets RROD again you arent out any money since they will give you a new console then. i highly doubt that if your console gets RROD again you will get a new one. ya you can send it back and have them refix it for free as long as its in the 90 days, but come day 91 your screwed. if you send it to MS and it breaks on day 91 you can still get it fixed.

Kinda,I pay 100.00 a month now for everything. It use to be 160.00 amonth untill I told them I was going to cancel in go with Dishnet tv and Version Dsl,So this is what they offerd me to keep me as a custumer.I am happy now! That 160 was after taxes also.I think they advertise all 3 for 120.00 extra 10. for turbo, after taxes in all about 160.But if they give me this deal I'm sure they can do it for more people. This is threw Time Warner also in PA.Might be different in yall's area

I don't really know how the speed thing works,But I thought they said it was up tp 15MB Dl\1Mb upload,I don't know but if I use news groups,Iv'e hit in the 20000kb mark I think that is 2mb right or close,I just know my service is great long as I Don't have my router hooked up,If I do I get droped connections all the time. And to you Dontbanme I hope so also,I tried to do research on them but it is hard to find anything out about them,I called them and talked to them they seemed pretty professinal on the phone anyhow, and someone else on here said they has one done in it is still running great to this day, other than being loud from fan mod runs great. So I guess we will see, like I said if its bad I will prob find out in a week, with as many hours I will put on it.
