I rarly ask for help but I have a strict NAT. It was open before but for some reason its strict again. I have my ports fowarded to port 88 and then another to 3074. I also have my port triggering set to UPD88 and inbound connection set to TCP/UPD 3074. Whats the deal guys I cant figure this one out.

what brand and model router are you using? i have a netgear wgt model, and all i had to do was update the FW on the router, and it made my NAT go from strict to open. there were about 5 or 6 different updated FWs for it, and i had to do them all in order since they built off of onanother. hopefully that solves your situation.

p.s. the search bar would have shown that thread of mine, please use it next time. hahahaha jk, had to add that in there though.

I had my NAT tyep Strict ALL THE TIME when I played halo 3.I did everything you did.I own a Netopia Century N2241N modem.I port forwareded 3074 and port 88 like I should and I made a differnet Ip address on my 360.Like 192.168.1.102.In the manual network connections.I reset everything thought because some devices wouldnt work well.Try going in to the xbox 360 network settings and manually setting the Ip address as explained on www.portforward.com.Halo 3 is the only game Ive had problems with due to My NAT but everything else is fine.

are you connecting the 360 directly to the modem, or going through a router then to modem?
