Some of the more experienced modders think that the whole idea of the clip just being pushed onto the dc2 chip means that it will become unstable and not work. Obviously soldering a wire to the dc2 chip legs is the most secure way to fix the argon onto the chipset however the wii-clip from my experience is being unfaily criticed by some as its worked and seems very stable to me imho. Some people have been saying that they are only reacting this way because it will take their business away if there is an easy option to installing modchips that most people can do at home.

Yeah I did get my WII-Clip. Dead easy to solder the chip to and dead easy to clip on to dc2. I also soldered the region free wires too. It does seem to clip on nice and firm and I can't see that it would come loose, unless you were always moving your Wii around and giving it some quite hard knocks. I've had it installed for about a month and had no problems.

ive ordered a wii clip v2 for argon but on modchip-store.co.uk it says its out of stock, has it always been like that or have they just run out of stock mate w.b
