my friend 360 lost the frimware he has a hitachi GRD-3120L, ROM VER.:0059DJ i got the Xtreme Firmware Hitachi 4in1 PPF if i flash it with program will he be able to play game again and if so what do i need i mean how is it done i looked online and it looks like i need a bunch of stuff i would really like to learn how but i dont know what this is or look like im confused on this sata think is to

I've been reading through the forum and would just like a little justification to make sure I'm understanding everthing. I have a console with a MS25 drive that would stick and not eject unless you tapped on the front of the drive, then it would open sometimes. I bought an MS28 drive, because I thought these two were basically the same thing. I thought I could just swap out the pcb and it would work...that's not the case is it? I have the MS25's original and hacked f/w stored on my pc, could I use jungle flasher and just flash the ms28 with the ms25's f/w? thanks in advance.
