Cox Communications has announced that they will be partnering with Rhapsody music service to create Cox Rhapsody, a service giving Cox High Speed Internet customers the ability to access and download millions of songs for $12.99 a month.

It's the last item I have a problem with. They say get all the features of the next lower tier AND be able to also transfer the music to portables "at no extra charge".
By definition, paying a higher price for the same items as the other tier EXCEPT for this ONE feature equates out to an additional charge for the extra feature.
It's like saying for 99 cents you can have a milkshake but for $1.99 you can have the exact same milkshake AND this nifty cup to hold the liquid in AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
Of course with the educational level, reasoning and logic skills that most Americans (I'm American but the exception lol) possess it's easy to see how Cox can get by with this word play.
Personally, I'd stay as far away as possible from anyone who associates themselves with Rhapsody. They are part of Real Media and everyone knows that their real player is crap. It's like their(Rhapsody) two week trial for which you need a credit card to sign up to. You can leave anytime during that two week period, but just try and find the number to leave their service. I worked for a company from the States, I'm a Canadian and we were their call center,and one lady called up to get the number to leave Rhapsody, but couldn't find it. I spent forty five minutes in the Rhapsody site before I found the unsubscribe phone number buried at the bottom of a page which had absolutely nothing to do with the music trial. Yahoo has made the same mistake only they sold their online music service to these idiots. Anyone with half a brain can see that this is just another scam by Real Media to try and insinuate itself into the online music market, like itunes and the other successful online stores,so they can look legitimate which they aren't.
I've been knowing about this for at least three months now, but you guys are barely reporting? Anyway, I'm somewhat wary of any ISP offering song downloads.
