Hi there,

I'm currently trying to create the iso of a wii game using rawdump. But when it's about 10 minutes to finish, an unhandled error occurs.
I'm guessing it's because of the disc...

Well, my question is: Will the game work if it is not finished? I mean, just a few MB to go... what problems will it have? How can I make it work with 4.3 GB on my Wii? Is there any way to make it work???

Thanks in advance.

I don't get why you ask if it will work, if you'll have problems and how to fix them. You haven't successfully ripped it lol. That should be enough info for you to answer your own Qs and also if you think it will work then just burn it and see.

A few Mb is a LOT and even one byte can be enough to cause problems.

Well, as you might already know, the iso is saved anyway. But I don't think that the wii will read a disc without the exact size... My question was if it is possible to fill the disc with trash that the wii wouldn't read and play the game or something.... :p

Yes of course I know you have an incomplete saved image but think about it. How can you know what's missing nm fill the missing part with "trash"? You can't just repair summat like that like you are blowing up a tyre that's a lil flat :)

If you have a bad .iso you may not even be able to make a good burn.

If the disc is not closed properly during the burn the disc may not even be recognized.

Quit trying to take shortcuts. Get your problems fixed and create a good burn. Then you won't need to ask these questions.

I was getting lots of exception errors until I started running rawdump in safe mode.

I don't know that it will fix it for you.

All I can tell you that I was experiencing lots of these problems until I started running in safe mode, and since then I have had zero problems.

Alternately, you can try friidump.
