Some months ago I purchased a modded Wii (with a Wii-key allegedly installed) and I do not know how to properly back-up Super Smash Bros. Brawl even though I have successfully backed-up and played other DVD-5 Wii games (the SSBB being a dual layered DVD and all). Anyway, I wanted to know if it is safe and possible to play an original copy of SSBB in my modded Wii (note: I think it will ask me to update before I can play the game)? Moreover, is it OK to update my Wii to the latest version with a mod chip within?
Any info or helpful thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to everyone.
Well, I've heard that the retail doesn't works with some modded wii's, but there are ways to solve this, and to backup this game as well. However, unlike of other wii games, you cannot use Rawdump, but friidump...

If it is a Wiikey, update the firmware of the wiikey to v1.9s and then your Wii to 3.2 (suggest online) and you will be able to play whatever you want.
