will either of these PCI cards work with flashing my benq drive? I think both are via, could some one confirm?

thanks for the link I think that will be my first choice if I buy online, but those two cards that I listed are at a store near me. Thats why I was wondering if they will work. I'm considering buying that card off newegg though.

Neither of those cards will work. You need SATA, not Firewire. And you need the VIA 6421 chipset.
