i was in the middle of playing naruto my psp and i wanted to return to the home menu, all of a sudden my screen went blank but the green light was still on. i turned it back on, all the buttons dont seem to work, the D-cursor and the pad on the right or the select or start button. Although the volume for some reason still works. i tried to do recovery but it keeps telling me this game cannot be read. i restarted the flash 0 and the buttons still doesnt work, its still the same situation. Can anyone help me out? Or have the same situation? Most appriecatted for all who can help me out.

You need a new button bar. Easy fix. Is it fat or slim.

Here, or if you pay shipping I have many parts. Where you from. I have to pay forward a favor for a slim button bar I got from Mazzuki at acidmods. One of my customers had slim that dropped in the snow and a drop of water killed it so I swapped the one out of my slim to his, and mazzuki sent me his spare from the UK to Canada to get mine up and running.

To replace the button bar you only have to remove the faceplate. One screw on bottom, two screws under battery far left top and bottom, not the inner right under battery top and bottom. And two holes on the right of the psp looking from the back. Thats it. Once those five screws are out flip it over, pry with your thumb from the bottom up and pull it off.
The Button bar is attached the the bottom of the LCD. Just pry with a small flat screwdriver on the left hand side of the bar(it's got a small knotch that holds it to the LCD bracket)once that is pried away the ribbon connector is brown piece that hold the ribbon in place. pop it up with your fingernail or such and replace with new. Take a newb about 20 min first time. Copy and save this to notepad if you want.

when i replace this , this will fix my ability to use the psp home menu? and be able to move again? How come i can move around in the recovery menu, but i cant move around the psp menu?. is it because the bottom bar, is a link conduct that allows it to flow, and the button bar basically blocked it?
