Can a PSP brick from running PSP/PSX ISOs?

I've had no issue with PSP ISOs but I have yet to try a PSX one and i don't really want to run the risk of bricking my PSP.

no the risk of bricking happens when you mess with the flash e.g. installing custom firmware ,updating firmware, flashing custom xmbs etc... but with pandoras battery bricking is not an issue... but to put you at ease there is no risk of playing psx games and bricking your psp
