ok well i was sure i ricked my psp because nothing would load, no xmb, no recovery, no anything
then i was looking around the met today and i say you have to have a backlight, now my psp sorta....doesnt
i has opening it up before and dis-assembiling it, did i just not connect the wires correctly or is my psp beyond brickage?
also i have another that i dont know if its bricked or not, i have a recovery menu and back light, just no XMB
Hmm... well, for your other PSP which has the backlight and recovery menu, but no XMB, I would call that a semi-brick. If you can get USB working in the recovery menu, you should be able to restore a backup of the flash0 or flash1, if you have a backup. Otherwise you'll most likely have to reinstall the firmware.
As for the other one, I don't have a clue. :(
I'm far from an expert, so I would suggest waiting to see if anyone else has any suggestions.
