hi, im in need of help badly, i have a psp slim fw 3.6 and i've tried getting both the universal unbricker and the pandora box tools to down grade, pandora doesnt work cuz it says a game could not b started error while unbricker always gives me a crap load of errors when its trying to write the files on the psp and yes i have a pandora battery made from the slim battery, and im a bit late cuz ppl say that slim batterys run out faster tho i have another battery for back... my question is must i have a fw higher then 3.6 in order for unbricker to work or can it b downgraded how it is with out going higher than my fw, plz i really need this help as its very frustrating that i cant get it... also wen i use the unbricker tool, and i look at the guide and the screen caps, im missing a crap load of those screen caps and i have xp, plz help

I take it you're trying to make your magic memory stick on your PSP? That won't work because you've got official firmware, you need to make it using your PC, follow this guide instead; http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313

PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

i have tried this guide and wen i use the unbricker it leaves out certain portions like the unbricker formating my psp for me, i dont get that option on the tool nor do i get the other option that it create sum stuff on ur psp b4 u click on the the 1-5 options, i have the pandora battery made out of my psp slim battery, jus cant make the mem stick, do i have to go t fw 3.71 in order to use the unbricker?

I'm not really following what you're saying there...

Why would it "format" your PSP?

Quote:
that it create sum stuff on ur psp
Can you be more specific?

And no, you don't need to update your firmware, you can try because it can't do any harm, but i don't think it will help.

They're exactly the same, ISOs and CSOs go into ms0:/ISO/ and homebrew either goes in ms0:/PSP/GAME/ or ms0:/PSP/GAME3xx/

Try the other folder, or, if that doesn't work, it's likely that it needs 1.50 kernel to run, something the PSP Slim doesn't yet have.
