I've recently upgraded to Dark Alex's M33-2 v 3.90.

The installation seemed to work fine, but there are a few strange problems:

1) I can put perfectly good .mp3s in the "music2 directory on the PSP but when i try to play them it says "there are no playable files"

2) After some moving about of .isos bewteen the PSP and the computer, it starts to "lose" the isos which are there; i.e. i can see them in the .iso folder when attached to the computer but they are not visible from within the PSP. The only solution is to format the memory card and put the .isos back on again.

3) this is a problem with a specific game; God of War, Chains of Olympus. I have downloaded a number of different versions, all of which have positive feedback from other users. When i run the .iso it gets to the menu screen with the picture of kratos, and if you press up or down it makes a noise like it is moving between menu options. But no menu items are available. If i press x a couple of times it seems to be moving on, but i just zooms in on kratos' eye and then locks up.

Any ideas for any of these?

Thanks.

you need to make a folder called music not music2 and the music folder should be in psp or in the root of the memory stick

X:\psp\music\musichere.mp3
X:\music\musichere.mp3

where x is the psp drive

that should fix that problem

sounds like a fake memory card.

check this by pressing triangle on the memory card icon and then go to information and see if it say "magic gate supported: unknown"

if it does then its a fake and theres not much to fix that.

try changeing the cpu speed to 333 and change the iso drivers to m33 also you could try installing the fatmsmod and see if that helps

hope that all helps 0_<

Actually that was a typo from me. It is the music directory i am using, and still .mp3s are not recognised.

Yes it does say unknown. I guess i've been burned. Could this be why i am having the .mp3 problems?
