Gran Turismo 5: Prologue Update Problem

I just received Gran Turismo 5 Prologue today, but that is not the problem, the problem is that everytime I try to play Online it asks for an update (I know it is supposed to) but the download always fails for some reason. Is there a way to download the update off the internet and install into the game?

unfortunately, no there isnt, Most people have the same issue as you.

i have this problem too. dont no what todo. appernetly you keep trying and it will eventually wrk. but i just want to play it. what a load of pants.....
