Hi,

I am trying to downgrade my 2.71 (which I updated to 2.80) psp. It is not a TA-082 motherboard. Basically I download the downgrader and then when I press start, 'x', or even go to slideshow it just shows a picture of the hen and then go back to main menu. I reformated my pro duo and reset all settings and it still doesnt work. The hen does not freeze my psp but nothing else happens it just goes to the menu. Has anyone had a problem like this? How did you fix it? I have a Sandisk Mem Pro Duo 1G (translucent green) could it be the mem stick?

what color is the hen? if its blue you are good launch update x.yx if its red something is wrong try here : http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-hacks-9/t-gui...rted-90301.html

it is no color. All it is the picture of the Hen (an actual chicken). It is like the downgrader is not being opened. If I goto a slideshow it will goto the hen image and then go back to the main menu.

go to photo/memory stick don't start from there. Press triangle,start slideshow and start from there

tried that and it does not work. I click start, x, triangle and goto slideshow. It does the samething is which it goes and shows the picture and nothing changes. showing a program is running
