So I've been trying to get my god of war: chains of olympus game to work on my PSP and have had no luck. It's the first PSP game I've actually tried playing with my modded PSP. I have version 3.03 OE-C does this affect it?

You need higher firmware to play it. You'll need pandoras or an unpatched
version of GTA Liberty city stories to get there.

Well, im on 3.90 M33-3 and i have been playing GOW for about 3 weeks.
Try the different drivers M33 or Np9660. Disable any plugins you have. Make sure it is in ISO format and not cso and finally if you have just u/g reset flash1.

Anyone maybe can help me?
I am running CFW 3.90 M33-3, and I can't seem to play the game off the UMD or as an ISO.
Feenix888 what settings do you use to play it as an ISO?
(I have ripped the game myself from a UK UMD I have).
Otherwise, any suggestions for getting the game to run from the UMD? (Lumines runs just fine off UMD).

you might need a different copy of GOW. I have heard about a few people that got bad iso's. my copy works just fine.
edit: are you sure that you have a real mem stick and not a fake one?

I still play my wii, just not as much. Gave my PSP to my son.

I run the game fine, just do the settings like the following.
*3.90 M33-3*
-Sony NP9660 -no umd-
-ISO/CSO format (No others)
-An ISO which is not affected by any other data.
You might as well get it from a site since your game doesn't work.

thanks for your answers guys, I have got the problem sorted out.
The clue was in the error message: 80020148
Apparently this is to do with incorrect versions of PRXs.
I had to go into the advanced menu of the CFW and change the settings on that page. Now I can run the game from the UMD, and the ISO (which was my original intention as it loads much quicker).

The NES, SNES, and GBC work the only one that doesn't work is the GBA emulator.
