Ok let me start off that I modded my psp so I can play gamese on it. I bought my fat psp over a year ago but after several months, one day it wouldn't turn on. The power light will go green for sec, just one sec or even less, then off. Nothing shows on green. just the power light changese for that one second. I personally thought it was a dead battery that wouldn't recharge. Several months later, (I was busy), so I decided to buy new battery. it was a sony 2200mAh battery that says it works on both psp versions fat or slim. I tried it then the same thing happened. Also when I tried to charge, the power light will go orange/yellow w/e meaning its charging but after awhile it just goes off. So is it a corrupted battery I bought or I just bricked my PSP without knowing it so it won't work?? I googled around and I found some similarities with a bricked psp. green power light but nothing else. but on some articles/youtube videos, the greenlight would stay on for a few seconds while mine goes on and off in a instant. I just wanted to ask to make sure that my psp is bricked and nothing but bricked because I have the right mem stick and willing to do pandora battery or w/e you call it. But also, it says in the guides that I have to use psp to edit stuff on the mem stick... how will i do that if psp won't turn on? or does it mean psp is just broken?

yep its a tipical brick. follow the pandoras battery guide.

if you know someone with a cfw psp then you can use the softmod version but if you dont you will need to use the hardmod version.

both guides are stickied at the top of the mods & firmware section

for you to make a magic memory stick just connect the memory stick to the computer through anything that will read a pro duo card.

hope that helps
