Halo on PS3???

Ok, I've heard many, many rumors on Halo being released on PS3, and I know alot of those are fake, but some can be pretty promising. I just had to make sure, so I posted this. If anyone knows about this, please let me know. If anyone thinks this is true, please put a link or some sort of proof. Because I would really like to know. Im a harcore PS3 gamer, and my cousin is a hardcore 360 gamer. But we both like all the Halo games. So I need to know if this can even be true in any way.

i think the term when pigs fly.
maybe a hacked copy over the internet may one day surface but the size and detail of Halo 3 i cant see it until a few years down the line

I know Microsoft is the publisher, but Bungie is the developer. Doesnt it mean that they can detach from Microsoft, and find another publisher to release it on other platforms?

There have been a lot of rumors though, that may or may not be true about Bungie seperating from Microsoft. I mean it seems logical, they would be making more money as they would be getting it from not only 360 gamers, but PS3 gamers too.

Dude, it's old news that Bungie DID leave Microsoft. Microsoft still owns Halo so no other consoles can get Halo. However, Bungie still owns right to all of her other franchises like Oni, Marathon and Myst. So these games (especially Marathon and Oni) are more likely to appear on other consoles and are likely to be Bungie's next game.

Thats cool, I just hope that Bungie comes out with a Halo-Like game for other consoles. But I guess im just forced to buy an Xbox 360 now, even though its probably only gonna be for Halo 3.

Well, I like more Sci-Fi ish type games. I don't really like those realistic war games. For me they're no fun. I mean if you're gonna play a video game, It might as well not be realistic. No offense, but for COD games, you might as well join the army. lol. jk. I do like Counterstrike though, and I also have COD4 for my ps3, but I rarely play it. I keep changing game preferences all the time, so I'll end up playing it a whole bunch again. lol.

It dosen't matter what type of shooter it is. As long as it's fun that is what really matters. Halo is fun, not an overrated game at all.

Oh yes. All the way. I've played them both many times and I'd definitely choose COD4. It seems to run smoother, have better graphics AND more fun online. But thats just me. ;)
