I just modded my Wii with a Wiikey and it will boot originals, but I can not get the boot disc to boot. I do not have any backups to try so I am kinda stuck. My Wii is running 3.2 firmware

First question, will the Wii boot from a DVD+R or does it have to be a DVD-R? I am currently using +R discs.

Here is what I have tried: I bought the chip from modchip.ca and their instructions have you download 2 files, one called bootdisk and one called setup disc. The bootdisc iso is titled gcosv3wiikey1.2.iso and contains 3-files, boot.catalog, bootldr.dol, and mfe-fs.bz2

Is this the boot disk?

The setupdisk is version 1.2b config disk as best I can tell.

I have tried booting the config disc, the boot disk, as well as a hacked version of 1.3 config but all report DRE.

Im at a loss as to where to go from here and could use some advice.
