i have a psp slim running cfw- 3.71 M33-2,
when i put a iso file in the iso folder, on my psp it just says corrupted data?? the iso i am using is from a game, i got two files saying psp_folder and UMD data, i converted those two and put it into one iso file. then i copied it to my psp's iso folder and on my psp it says corrupted data. I also tried going in recovery mode and changing th umd setting to M33 no UMD and the other one (PSP ... No umd i forgot what it is called)
my memory stick is genuine i checked it on the psp it says magiggate supported

you could try upgrading to m33-4. c if that works.
it cud be a dud iso have you tried more than 1 game.

i am downloading as we speak but i cant get any just iso files , all i find is a .rar file which i dont know if it contains a bunch of files or one iso file, also i downloaded umdgen and tried the iso i made it says that it is not a psp compatible file, what should i do?? also do you know how to make an iso from these two files, psp folder and umd data do i put it all into one iso??
when you download them there compressed into a.rar file you need a program called winrar to extract the iso from this. type in google and download the free trial. no need to pay but it will ask you to.mines been free trial for about 2 years lol dont take long to download. once you have winrar right click the rar file and extrat it to the same folder. this will extract all thats in the .rar. sometimes theres other files not needed. put the one with .iso in the iso folder in psp. this should work. you can then delete the .rar file and just keep the .iso for back up.
some games have more than 1 part. in this case download all parts put in same folder and just extrat part 1 this will atuomaticly extrat all parts into 1 iso.
with makin an iso i cant say i no but will find out. give me a lil while.
soz i might have confused you, i already have winrar, and know how to extract etc but i meant when i search for games to donwload them it is a .rar file so i dont know whether to waste my time trying to download it or not. also in the iso folder i have another folder called video should i put my cso/iso files in the video folder of iso or straight into iso??
hi thanks for all your help!! i have found a working cso and made it work on my psp!!! thanks!!! also which setting should i have my psp on m33 no umd, or psp n ..... no umd, or the normal one?? i have some umds which i also want to play aswell as the downloaded games. which setting should i put it on, also what do the settings mean?
glad i could help. a cso is a compressed iso. so if you get a iso you use that indgen to compress it to a iso. but be carefull coz some games lag when compress to cso.
i have mine on M33 no und this works with UMDs aswell.

i dont no what all the settings mean. i just no that mine works on that setting. my firmware is 3.71 m33-4 which is the latest on that spec maybe you sould upgrade to that coz any prblems on the earler versions have been sorted on this.
