Can PSP slim with latest firmware support 8GB or more MS's???

Im gonna be updating my PSP Slim to the latest firmware. I was just wondering what is the max size Memory Stick it can support?

the firmware can use an 8 gig make sure its magic gate supposedly the 16 gig to when those hit stores now for pandora you would need a mem stick smaller than 4 gig

Huh? that made no sense, or maybe i am reading it wrong? First you said it can use 8 gigs and then you say i would need a memory stick smaller than 4 gigs


Also, Does the speed of the memory stick affect gameplay?

Particularly would this sony...

it was on sale a week ago for like 70$ thats when i picked mine up, works great on CFW 3.90 M33-3

i just read that using an 8GB card slows down gameplay. is this true? and if so, by how much would it slow the game down going from 4GB to 8GB

As far as I've noticed, it doesn't slow down anything. It's still by any means faster than any UMD. Also, the "right" CFW would be at least 3.72 M33-5 and up. I'm not sure about the lower ones. But, if you have M33 installed, chances are good you'll be fine. Just upgrade to Dark Alex' newest stuff.
